HRH Princess Orathai Thepkanya Residential Hall

H.M. King Chulalongkorn had this building constructed for his sister HRH Princess Orathai Thepkanya. Nowadays, it is used to display fabrics used in the court of H.M. King Chulalongkorn such as Shanghai brocade silk, gold brocade cloth, satin, Pha Poom, which is silk-woven cloth with warp ikat patterns (tied and dyed threads loom woven technique)and various types of printed fabric. Her Majesty the Queen has graciously given the SUPPORT Foundation’s silk to be displayed here, too.
