Bushcraft & Earth Skills
Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Semesters
Practical Wilderness Survival Courses
Greetings! We're a full-time, professional bushcraft school and traditional north woods guide service located on the border of New Hampshire and Maine. Unlike the large, national outdoor schools, our focus isn't on traveling through the wilderness as an outsider or tourist using high-tech gear as an umbilical cord back to town. Instead we teach traditional bushcraft skills and nature lore that immerse you into the bush without a buffer, through which you learn that you're an active part of the natural world, not an observer.

Camp Tonkawa
Wilderness Awareness Learning Center
of North Texas
Our mission is to reconnect mankind with nature. We believe this can be accomplished by "hands on" teaching of the ancient Native American skills of "nature awareness" and "primitive wilderness survival". By doing this we hope that a respect and appreciation for our Earth will be gained, this in turn will help not only our society but the world as a whole. Trained instructors are from the "Tom Brown's Tracking, Nature & Wilderness Survival School" and the Jon Young's "Wilderness Awareness School" and have other classes, achievements, and experiences under their belts! |
